Set in 1912 on Valentine's Day, our Die Fledermaus takes a spin on the 1899 Original Operetta. The renderings showcase the beautiful builds that our amazing drapers created for the show. For our chorus women, we transformed modern dresses into period by adding overlays and creating unique sashes for each character.
The fulfilling process as the Costume Designer for this show allowed me to budget for the shows needs, source my own fabrics, design 9 complete costume builds and 4 hat builds, and do heavy alterations for all of the chorus women
